Stackbirds Inc.

Effective Date: December 31, 2025

Stackbirds Inc. (“Stackbirds,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Stackbirds website, the Stackbirds Agent Chrome Extension, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you access or use the Service.

This Policy applies to:

  • the Stackbirds Chrome Extension;

  • the Stackbirds website; and

  • related Stackbirds services used to support Extension functionality.

By visiting our website, installing or using the Chrome Extension, or otherwise accessing the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and consent to the practices described herein, where permitted by applicable law.

  1. Purpose and Scope of This Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy while providing a browser-based automation and workflow agent. Because the Service is capable of interacting with websites and observing on-screen content during user-initiated sessions, we provide detailed disclosures about how information may be accessed and used.

This Policy explains:

  • what information may be collected or accessed;

  • how and why it is used;

  • how it is stored and shared; and

  • the choices available to you.

All references to “Stackbirds,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to Stackbirds Inc.
All references to “Company” refer to an organization that has entered into an agreement with Stackbirds to provide the Service to its employees, contractors, or other authorized users.
All references to “you,” “your,” or “Authorized User” refer to an individual accessing or using the Service.

If you use the Service in your individual capacity and not through an employer or organization (an “Individual Customer”), the responsibilities described in this Policy that apply to a Customer apply to you. Individual Customers and Companies are each referred to as a “Customer.”

This Policy also applies to individuals who visit our website or communicate with us for informational, sales, or marketing purposes but do not use the Chrome Extension (“Marketing Contacts”).

If you have questions about this Policy, you may contact us at hello@stackbirds.xyz

  1. Description of the Software

The Stackbirds Agent is proprietary software delivered primarily through a Chrome browser extension (the “Software”). T

The Software enables Customers and Authorized Users to:

  • record browser-based workflows;

  • replay workflows or automations on websites;

  • interact with websites via a side-panel interface; and

  • receive AI-assisted guidance during these processes.

The Software operates only when explicitly initiated by the user, such as when starting a recording, running a workflow, or interacting with the Extension UI. The Software does not operate autonomously outside of such user-initiated sessions.

3. Information We Collect and How We Use It

A. Required Information You Voluntarily Provide

When you use the Service, you may be required to provide information that can identify you as an individual (“Personal Data”) for account creation and administration, such as:

  • name;

  • email address;

  • company or organizational affiliation (if applicable);

  • role or usage context.

This information is used solely to provide access to, operate, and support the Service.

B. Personal Data We Collect from Marketing Contacts

We may collect Personal Data from individuals who request information about Stackbirds or our services, including:

  • name;

  • email address;

  • company affiliation.

This information is used only to communicate about Stackbirds products, services, or events. We do not sell Marketing Contact data.

C. Optional Information You Voluntarily Provide

You may choose to provide additional information through your use of the Software, including:

  • workflow inputs, prompts, or configuration data;

  • information submitted to web forms when using automation features;

  • information made available through optional third-party integrations.

This information is processed only to provide the requested functionality. Certain features may not be available if you choose not to provide such information.

D. Information Collected Automatically During Use; Screen and Workflow Capture

Because the Software enables browser-based workflow capture and automation, it may observe or process information during user-initiated recording or execution sessions, including:

  • webpage URLs and titles;

  • page structure (DOM) and visible content;

  • user-selected elements and interaction context;

  • information displayed on webpages at the time of use.

As a result, any information visible on your screen during a workflow session may be captured, including Personal Data and, in some cases, sensitive information.

Stackbirds does not seek or require sensitive personal information. We strongly encourage users to avoid displaying sensitive information (such as banking, healthcare, or government account data) when initiating workflows.

E. Cookies and Session Context

The Software may access cookies or session context for the active website when necessary to complete a user-requested workflow or automation. Cookies are not used for advertising, cross-site tracking, or resale.

F. Clipboard Access

If you explicitly use copy or paste features, the Software may read from or write to your clipboard at that time. Clipboard access does not occur passively or in the background.

G. Browser and Tab Metadata

The Software may access browser and tab metadata (such as URLs or titles) to support workflow recording and execution you initiate.

H. Debugging and Advanced Automation Capabilities

The Software may use advanced browser capabilities, including debugging features, only during user-initiated sessions, to enable automation, inspection, or troubleshooting. These capabilities are not used to passively monitor browsing activity.

I. Diagnostics and Usage Data

We may collect limited diagnostic and operational data, including:

  • timestamps;

  • feature usage events;

  • error logs;

  • approximate device or browser metadata;

  • IP address as part of standard server logging.

This data is used solely for reliability, security, abuse prevention, and product improvement.

J. Responsibility for Captured Information

Customers and Authorized Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the legal right to capture, input, and process any information displayed on webpages used with the Software, including Personal Data of third parties.

4. Purposes of Collection and Legal Bases for Use

We process Personal Data primarily to provide, maintain, and operate the Service.

We may also use Personal Data, as well as aggregated or anonymized information, to:

  • understand how the Service is used;

  • improve and develop the Service;

  • maintain safety, reliability, and performance;

  • offer new or optional features.

Legal bases for processing include:

  • Consent, where applicable;

  • Performance of a contract;

  • Compliance with legal obligations; and

  • Legitimate interests, such as security, abuse prevention, and customer support.

  1. How We Share Information

We do not sell Personal Data and do not share Personal Data with advertisers.

We may share Personal Data only as follows:

A. With Your Company

If you are not an Individual Customer, your Company may access information associated with your use of the Service. Stackbirds acts at the direction of the Company in such cases.

B. With Service Providers

We may share Personal Data with employees, contractors, and trusted third-party service providers (such as hosting and infrastructure providers) on a need-to-know basis to operate the Service. These providers may process data only on our instructions.

  1. Data Storage and Security

A. Retention

You may request deletion of Personal Data by contacting us.

B. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including:

  • encryption in transit (SSL/TLS);

  • access controls and least-privilege practices;

  • confidentiality obligations for personnel and vendors.

No system is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed except as required by law.

7. California Privacy Rights

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), including the right to request access to or deletion of Personal Data. We do not sell Personal Data.

Requests may be submitted by contacting us. We will not discriminate against users for exercising CCPA rights.

8. Your Choices

You may:

  • access, update, or delete certain information where available;

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;

  • request that we limit or stop certain processing activities, subject to legal and contractual obligations.

9. International Data Transfers

The Service is hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Government Requests

We may receive lawful requests from government authorities for user information. We handle such requests in accordance with applicable law and seek to protect user privacy to the extent permitted.
